Jul. 1st, 2025 01:30 pmIn general I like to talk things out. Most of the time I will say yes so never be afraid to ask but I just like to know when I'm getting in to things.
Out of Character
➣ Backtagging? Absolutely.
➣ Threadjacking? For public posts anybody can tag me. If you want to get in an ongoing thread with me and another player to make it three or more just ask first to make sure we weren't planning something else.
➣ Comments in subject lines? Sure.
➣ Fourthwalling? Feel free to have your character freak out inwardly "OMG ITS SHERLOCK HOLMES!" But Sherlock himself is not canon-punctured and has no idea that to most people he's fictional. For the forseeable future I'm going to keep him that way; he has enough going on without having an existential crisis.
In Character
➣ Hugging this character? Yes, but he'll likely squirm out of the way unless he really likes you.
➣ Kissing this character? Go for it but don't be offended if you get pushed away before you make contact.
➣ Flirting with this character? You can try. He won't care.
➣ Fighting with this character? Argue all you like. For physical fights I like to know they're coming in advance.
➣ Punching/attacking this character? Again I like to know about physical attacks in advance. Also he's quite adept so make sure you're not getting yourself into something you would regret...
➣ Using offensive/defensive powers on this character? Same as previous, I like to discuss physicality beforehand.
➣ Injuring/Killing this character? No killing ever. As for injuries are you seeing a pattern? I like to discuss OOC.
➣ Using telepathy/mind reading/empathy on this character? Empathy is fine, let me know if you need a hand OOC picking up his moods. Telepathy also fine. Mind reading is possible but to be honest his brain is a maelstrom that rips even its owner apart sometimes. Trying to read his thoughts is known to produce unpleasant headaches. His brain is not a nice place to be.
Anything else, I'm always available to talk! I love OOC communication, it makes the world go 'round and we're all happier for it! Feel free to ping me on Plurk or leave a note here.
